The Wives Book
I started this blog as a newly engaged woman. I planned my wedding through the ideas and inspiration of the web and many other blogs. I am now officially a married lady (as of June 12, 2010).
I now am going to focus on myself and using my blog to take you through my life as a wife, a friend, a daughter, a creator, and a planner. I will continue to post about weddings and events, because I have such a passion for planning the BIG day. I look forward to embarking on new recipes, new home projects and all that comes with this next phase as a newlywed. Enjoy the ride with me!

i made this a few weeks ago, with help from sarah. it’s 5 places that are special to j + me:
- los angeles - where we met
- berkeley - where we spent a lot of time and lived together for a few months
- hawaii - the first real vacation we took together, just us
- east hampton, ny - where we adopted hampton
- nyc - our first real home together
This is a great idea. I think I need to make one of these.

Off to beautiful Carmel, CA for a work meeting for the next few days. It was 2 years ago, that Adam proposed to me the Saturday before this yearly meeting, so I am looking forward to spending the day with him reminiscing as a now married couple.
Looking forward to a private dinner at the aquarium, the wine, a bike ride along the coast and of course the wonderful company of my colleagues.

I get to see this guy tonight in concert! I have been wanting to see Kenny Chesney for a long time, looking forward to singing along with a beer in my hand! This kicks of the concert season for me….as there will be many that will lead tonight!
